Southern Vales Dressage Club run competitions each month - usually on the third Sunday.
We hold six competitive competitions for horses and ponies throughout the year including Young Horse, FEI and Para Equestrian. We offer two tests in each level from Preliminary up to FEI.
SVDC run five Closed Unrestricted Competitions for horses and ponies each year including a Critique Day and Championship.
We run these types of competitions at the same time we run our Competitive competitions, however we only hold Preparatory to Elementary levels on these days and only one class in each level instead of two.
This means that if you are a member of Southern Vales Dressage Club, you have the opportunity to compete "unofficially" (points are not awarded) each month.
These competitions are great if you or your horse are new to dressage and would like the chance to ride your test in front of a judge before you enter a competitive competition or you simply want to have some fun or do not with to ride for points.
These competitions are for members of Southern Vales Dressage Club only. We run one restricted competition each year which is our Championship for members only.
For a detailed explanation of the levels of membership required for each competition, please visit our FAQ page.
You must have been a financial member of SVDC in the previous year.
Only horses/ponies who HAVE NOT competed at EA competitive level for the last twelve months are eligible to enter.
