Southern Vales Dressage Club
The Southern Vales Dressage Club is located at
Aldinga Sports Complex on Port Road, Aldinga.
Southern Vales Dressage Club runs competitions once a month, offering dressage tests for
all standards. We hold official, associate and members only competitions
as well as Critique days. We also hold our Open Championships over 2
days - Saturday for the Unofficial and Sunday for the Official classes.
The Club also runs several riding clinics throughout the year with
well-known dressage showjumping and eventing riders as well as
fundraising events such as combined hack/dressage days and freshmans
showjumping.
Southern Vales Dressage Club is dedicated to increasing the
awareness and participation in dressage. Our Club has a strong
leadership and a dedicated committee and consequently we have every
expectation that facilities will continue to improve and provide a
fantastic competition venue for all our competitors and growing
membership. Of course, new members are always very welcome and we
hope that everyone, prospective and existing members and all
dressage enthusiasts, will find our new website informative and entertaining!
Facilities
Southern Vales Dressage Club has the only internationally recognised dressage facility in
South Australia. We have a very high profile venue which attracts riders
of all standards from across the State.
We have three permanent 60'x20' sand arenas with sand trot-ups, an
enclosed 70x40 sand work-in arena plus sanded areas, soft footing
lunging round yard, large club rooms/canteen facilities, a permanent
wash bay and new holding yards. Our facility is fully fenced which makes
it very safe for competitors and horses alike. We have large areas for
car and float parking and spectator parking.
